5 Digital Marketing Thought Leaders you need to follow on Twitter

If you’re anything like the typical online marketer of today, you’ve have been pulled into the world of SEO, Content Marketing or Social Media Marketing. On an average day you consume a bundle of relevant content from subject matter experts from social media posts like Tweets and from blog articles. In the industry they are commonly referred to as “thought leaders”.

Wikipedia defines thought leader as:

A thought leaader can refer to an individual or firm that is recognized as an authority in a specialized field and whose expertise is sought and often rewarded.

I would add to that:

a person who is continuously publishing insight and solutions into the biggest problems their audience faces, in a format they understand

When someone asks who is the top thought leader in any given category, I would say:

“All of them!”

Because everyone has something to say, and no one person can know it all.

I follow and learn from thought leaders because they are always evolving and learning themselves.  They have genuine passion for online marketing and share their knowledge openly. So here is my list of 5 Authorities or thought leaders you should follow in the fields of SEO, Content Marketing and Social Media Marketing.
